During your first visit Dr. Rahimi-Thornton will:

Your Child’s First Visit
The first “regular” dental visit should be just after your child’s third birthday; however, they can see them sooner as well. The first dental visit is usually short and involves very little treatment. This is a great opportunity for your child to become familiar with the sights and sounds of a dental office, such as the suction tips, overhead lights, and the loupes the dentist and hygienists wear.
If your child allows us, we can give them a ride in the dental chair. You also may sit in the dental chair and hold your child during the examination.
We offer a variety of pediatric dentistry procedures including:
- Dental exam & x-rays
- Teeth cleanings
- Fluoride treatments
- Sealants
- Treating cavities
- Plus, more!
