Kendra

Operations Specialist

Hi there! I’m Kendra Lehoski the operations specialist here at Thornton Dental, I live in a small Polish town called Bremond, TX, population 897; and my path has taken me through all kinds of experiences such as healthcare, agriculture, sales, and more. But no matter what I was doing, the part I loved most was connecting with people and making them feel comfortable. At Thornton Dental, I get to do exactly that every day. Whether it’s keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes or helping patients feel at ease the moment they walk in, I love bringing a calm, welcoming energy to the office. I’ve always been able to connect with just about anyone, and I think that goes a long way in making our practice feel like home. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids, plus a clingy cat who follows me everywhere and a tiny Yorkie who looks like a little rag doll. I have a soft spot for old movies and love conversations that make you laugh one minute and think the next. For me, a great dental experience isn’t just about quality care, it’s about kindness, comfort, and genuine connection.

Dental Assistant

Hi, I’m Danna, one of the Dental Assistants here at Thornton Dental.

As the oldest of five siblings, two brothers and two sisters; I’ve naturally grown into a role of responsibility, patience, and care. Those qualities have shaped how I approach every day in the dental field, especially when it comes to helping patients feel comfortable and supported during their visits. What I love most about being part of the Thornton Dental team is our shared commitment to treating people with kindness and respect. I treat every visit as a chance to connect and ensure you leave feeling better; both about your smile and your experience.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll probably find me outdoors; taking walks with my dog Bailey, catching flights, or getting into the excitement of football season.

I’m all about staying active and making the most of every moment, whether I’m exploring a new place or cheering on my favorite team! #Hook’em

Michaela

Dental Assistant

Hello! I’m Michaela, one of the Dental Assistants here at Thornton Dental.

I’ve lived in a lot of places, but no matter where I’ve been, I’ve always loved helping people feel cared for. That’s why I’m so proud to be part of a team that focuses on making each patient feel relaxed, heard, and confident in their smile. As the oldest of five siblings, I’ve learned to stay calm, multitask, and bring a gentle approach to everything I do.

Outside the office, I love spending time outdoors with my family, especially fishing trips on the boat. I also enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, planning new travel adventures, and relaxing at home with my two cats, Bourbon and Mr. Kitty; who always keeps life interesting.

I hope to make your visit to Thornton Dental not just comfortable, but something you leave feeling better from, inside and out.

Social Media Coordinator

Hi, I’m Karen Thornton, the Social Media Coordinator here at Thornton Dental. My husband and I met in Bryan-College Station and, after 40 years away, we recently returned to retire and reconnect with this wonderful community where we both graduated from Texas A&M. I’m a retired educator who remains passionate about advocating for education and educators, and I’ve had the honor of serving on several community boards.

In retirement, I’ve embraced new roles—one of my favorites is managing social media for Thornton Dental. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re welcomed by the warmth of the staff, a calming atmosphere, and the confident, reassuring presence of Dr. Rahimi-Thornton (Dr. RT)

What makes this role even more special to me is that Dr. RT is also my daughter-in-law. I’m incredibly proud that she is married to my son and even prouder of the compassionate, skilled care she provides to every patient who walks through our doors.

Since moving back to BCS, we’ve loved spending time with our grandchildren, reconnecting with friends and family, traveling, and continuing to support Texas Aggie football, Blinn College Foundation events, and Texas A&M alumni activities.

Thornton Dental is more than just a dental office—it’s a place that truly cares for the whole person. I’m honored to be part of a team that serves our community with heart and integrity.
